About Me

Designer. Builder. Recovering perfectionist.

I'm Iman, a UX designer with five years of enterprise experience across healthcare, pharma, energy, and manufacturing. I care about making design work actually work: shipping, not just sketching. These days I'm building tools, automating the boring stuff, and sharing what I learn along the way.

2022

First UX roles

Helix Works (Jan), World Simplified (Feb–Apr), The Happy Pear (Mar–Jul), three clients in six months, figuring out what kind of designer I wanted to be.

2021

Diploma in hand. Resigned.

Completed my Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute in October. Left clinical trials. No safety net. Best decision I made.

2020

The pivot (thanks, COVID)

Two years in clinical trials as a Clin Ops Administrator, and accidentally automated the entire drug labelling process without knowing automation was a thing. Turns out I'd been a designer all along. The pandemic gave me enough time to admit it.

2019

Zagreb → Dublin

Packed up Croatia, moved to Ireland. Started in pharma. Spent the next year wondering why all the software was so hard to use.
